We aim to deeply profile the epigenetic states that underlie complex disease, and develop novel therapeutics that treat and reverse them through precise control of cellular states.
Position:
Moonwalk Biosciences is recruiting a Principal/Director of Computational Biology. As a key member of our R&D team, you will:
Work within the R&D team to design and analyze high dimensional genomic datasets derived from epigenetic reprogramming experiments
Curate and combine external and internal genomics datasets
Develop bioinformatics and computational biology methods for generating deep biological insights from large scale multi-omics datasets.
Required Qualifications:
M.S. / PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in one or more languages: Python, R, C/C++, Go, Rust or equivalent
Experience with analysis of high dimensional genomics datasets
Experience with development of machine learning and statistical modeling algorithms
Strong attention to detail and impeccable organizational and documentation skills
Ability to excel in a team-first, supportive work environment, and clearly articulate ideas, problems, and solutions
Ability to thrive in early stage technology development with demanding schedules and deliverables
Preferred Skills & Experience
Track record of high impact publications
Experience with analysis of methylation, CHIP-seq, RNA-seq, or high throughput single cell sequencing datasets
Experience with development of bioinformatics pipeline for analysis of next generation sequencing datasets
Experience with cloud computing environments for data analysis and pipeline development
Principal Engineer: The expected annual pay range for this position is $199,000 – $270,000.
Director: The expected annual pay range for this position is $178,000 – $242,000.
