Jennifer Fleischer is a seasoned patent attorney with over ten years of experience managing global intellectual property portfolios and advising renowned scientists and executive leaders across diverse biotech and life science industries. Before joining Moonwalk, Jennifer was Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Lyell Immunopharma, where she was lead IP counsel for the company’s clinical program on epigenetically reprogrammed tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL). Prior to Lyell, Jennifer was Director of Intellectual Property at Sangamo Therapeutics, where she managed global patent prosecution on technologies including cell therapy, immunotherapy, gene therapy, gene editing, and analytics in addition to managing all company trademark and copyright matters. Jennifer started her in-house career at Illumina, where she was responsible for strategic development of the noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) patent portfolio. She was also sole counsel in charge of Illumina’s trademark portfolio and brand management. Jennifer received her JD from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, her MS in Molecular Genetics from California State University, LA, and her BS in Medical Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
