Moonwalk Team

Sid is a bioinformatics scientist at Moonwalk with prior experience in software engineering, machine learning and computational biology. Before joining Moonwalk, he worked for several years at Google and GRAIL each in various machine learning and early stage life sciences research teams. At Google, his major contributions were in a stealth mode synthetic biology team and in Google’s realtime semantic location inference machine learning models. At GRAIL, he set up infrastructure and best practices for reproducible research and was a key enabler in the bioinformatics team for software engineering and statistical modeling.

Sid has an MPhil in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge, and an MTech and BTech in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
